By Steve Gorten Sun Sentinel Two-time reigning state champion American Heritage had three players – quarterback Torrance Gibson, cornerback Tarvarus McFadden and linebacker Anthony Flory – selected for Florida’s Class 5A All-State Football Team. Boynton Beach quarterback Lamar Jackson and Hallandale receiver Richie Cooper both made first-team in 6A as utility players. The Associated Press’ 6A and 5A all-state teams, including first, second and third teams and honorable mention selections as chosen by newspaper editors and reporters around the state, were released Wednesday.
