LAND O’ LAKES — In Pasco’s worst loss to a Pasco County team since 2006, Sunlake overwhelmed the Pirates and cruised to a 36-8 homecoming victory Friday at Seahawks Stadium. The last time the Pirates lost by 20 points or more to an in-county opponent, Pasco was being coached by current Spoto coach Dale Caparaso and his team lost 22-0 to Gulf. With a precision passing attack and sound run game, Sunlake (7-0, 2-0 6A-District 6) basically had its way with Pasco’s defense.
